About the Exit Sign

Building and fire codes (IBC 1013, NFPA 101 §7.10, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.37(b)) require exit signs to be illuminated — internally lit, externally lit or self-luminous — and listed to UL 924, with letters at least 6 inches high. A printed sign does not meet those rules, so it can't replace a real exit sign. Use these graphics for training materials, evacuation-drill props, floor plans, presentations, websites and other online use, or as supplemental signage alongside the required illuminated signs.
